After capturing a book writen by Lucas Darknight the party went back to their boat, Talon, to read a through the ten pages. the writing was in an ancient Elven scripture that none of us could read. I, the Elven Ranger, remembered seeing some of the symbols in Everwood but couldn't remember what they meant. The Cleric in the party casted the Comprehend langauges spell. It gave us a riddle.
Holder of Souls

After reading the riddle out loud the inside of the cover started to glow and the same Elven symbols should up in a circle around an out-dent we pealed back the paper releasing a plate size platinum coin. On one side was the symbol of Canadar and on the other was the symbols for the High Elves, Dark Elves, the Sea Elves, and the Ranger Watch (their a bunch a pussy cats), in triangle shape with the Rangerwatch in the middle. After playing around with the coin and the riddle for a while we dicided that we better get some sleep and go talk to some people that may have made it. When we woke up we went to the temple of Gond, the smithing god, we were "greeted" by a "gruard dwarf" he told us to go to a smither right across the street to see if he now anything about it. The place was called Boulder's arms. We went in to find a male Dwarf behind an anvil with a younger female dwarf next to him, he introduced himself as Boulder Gravelchewer. We asked him if he knows anything about it he showed us that it was magical and that we should go see an Anvilthrower about the making of this giant coin. We confronted the graud again and he gave us a little show of how well he could throw an anvil. They came back and rounded everyone up to go back to the ship.

In the Middle of Eract Nodi

Reading through the riddle a couple time we figured that it had something to do with plants, mainly tea.
we decided to check the exact middle of Eract Nodi. just about as we were to get into the exact middle of Eract Nodi we passed a tea shop. Inside we found the owner a gnome named gwun. standing just about to where gwun was cashiering we just kinda said "hey you know that darknight guy died." He didnt say anything so The Ranger of the party asked him if knew anything about Lucas and a giant coin. He asked if we could meet later so we could talk (his shop was kinda busy. we met that night and dicussed how he got the coin and how we got the book and the coin. he unfortutionatly set a price for us to buy the coin off him. we dint have the money right then so we told him that we would meet him outside of his shop fifteen minutes to opening and make the exchange.It went fine. We went back to Talon to look at it. On the one side was The symbol for Canidarand on the other in a triangle form with the fourth in the middle was the symbols for the rock gnome, the deep gnomes, and the sea gnomes. in the middle was fourth symbol of the gnomeish ranger watch or something like that.

We decided that the next riddle highly recommended the Thespians in a way it referenced a floor-dropping stage. So we planned a sweet little field trip to theThespian's Guide aka...Entertainment Guild.
The elven receptionist, being most helpful if a littlesnooty (and I should know)--gave us some information about the New Entertainment outside of town on their amazing stage, which as coicidence holds-has a several compartments in the stage for storage and the like. Obviously, our interest peaked, we went off in search of the stage master and our inner voice (the DM) said it was a good time to stop since there was a good
chance for an encounter.
Friday, may 31
We continued searching for the next coin. We were led to omni theatre out of town carved into the mountain side. Before actually getting to to start searching through the place we ran into one of the maintainence keepers of the theatre. he was mad that we came barging in, but then we told him we needed a tour so he just throw the keys at us and sadi foock off. we went and checked out the cat walk and the control both for stage stuff and other things. That didnt lead us any where so we went back the stage. there was one of the floor drop out open where the maintence gnome came out of so we us that one to get down into the belly of the stage there was supriseing a gallows prop down there well we were checking out the gallows and the rest of the props when suddenly above us some one closed the panel we came in. so we just opened it and there was five (suprise) people there waiting for one of us to come out of the whole. the battle began one of them was a mage, a cleric, an anti-paladin, a rogue, and a werewolf. the battle didn't last to long they dropped the ranger quikly, but he wasnt dead just unconciuos from a poison bomb or something that one of them throw down into the belly. they held there own against the evil characters but they were to strong to take them all down before the party was up, the only one that was left was the mages familiar and steam dragon (dont qoute me on that) that talked with the evil cleric while he searched us for the book, but didnt find it cause we didnt have it. they got away unfortunutly. After they were gone the dragon got us out of there so we could wake up. When we woke up we called for the and got the town paladins of Tyr who werent to happy to hear that there is mass evil in their town. The party told the paladins that there was an item we had lost in midst of battle that we really needed to find, so he lat us stay there and took the dragon, seeing as he is the one that didnt fall unconciuos during the whole battle. we went back to the gallows in the belly, after the goo had been cleared up. looking at them a second time the Cleric found the coin hiden in one of levers to drop the gallows door.

Friday, june 9 (sunday)
After getting the crap kicked out of us, finding the coin, and getting healed we went into the city and talked to little man named Sabin Moonwood the owner of the city and very powerful mage.
Arriving back to Talon, He told us that some one had tried to board our ship......twice. Talon also told us that it was a Reaver (see definitions on home page). We thought about setting a trap to see if they try to capture one of us if they thought we had one of the coins so that the rest of us could ambush them, but a divine voices told us NO. Knowing that the reaver had tried to get here we went and checked on the gnome that helped get the second coin, unfortunetly, when we got there the gnome had been killed and we backed up to the wall by several gnomes. After proving that we were the ones that the gnomed helped the other twelve gnomes appeared one them being Capper and the other Gnut. Getting back to Talon again we decided that we should work on the next riddle.
